A shorter, more compact version of Blue Star exhibiting deeper lavender blue flowers above glossy willow leaves. Very floriferous. The foliage of Amsonia Blue Ice will turn warm golden yellow in the fall. Its habit, flowering and fall color make it a perfect element for the landscape. Very impressive in a mass planting. Low care and deer resistant. Native to the United States. Full sun to mostly sunny. Zone 4.
