  • Description:

Bushy, copper-red foliage with golden highlights on an upright habit. Serrated, pointy leaves emerge green in spring, turning crimson in color with gold edges and tinges of coppery-bronze throught the season. Flower is insignificant as this annual is grown for its foliage. Holds up well in heat. To avoid flowering, which stops the growth of foliage, the terminal ends of stems should be pinched once flower bud has set. Makes a great cut foliage plant and will root in water. Add to containers as a thriller/filler, and in landscapes beds for a splash of unique color.
