A very upright shrub with exceptional red fall color. Besides its excellent red autumn color, it has a profuse production of red fruits. The white flowers precede the fruit but are not as ornamental. It does well in heavier soils, is quite shade tolerant, and requires little pruning. Appropriate for naturalizing and for attracting wildlife.
