If you are looking for a dramatic punch of red in your annual beds and containers, this is the annual for the job. Scarlet red blooms on shorter spikes attract hummingbirds and butterflies, blooming from late spring to late summer. Doesn’t like to dry out as much as other salvias. This uniform and compact annual only grows 10-12” high and 8” wide. Heat tolerant. Unfavorable to deer. Full Sun.
