The attractive foliage of the Sweet Potato vine cascades from containers, or can serve as a ground cover or as skirts for upright plants. Ipomoea 'Little Blackie' has deeply divided leaves, ebony above, and purple on the reverse. They offer the perfect foil for every color in the spectrum. Plants stand just 12 in tall but can spread 3 ft in a season. Provide consistent, even moisture, along with full sun. Thankfully, occasional pinching makes it possible to grow 'Little Blackie' in a container of quite modest dimensions.
