    Two varieties are available in this annual purple fountain grass. ‘Fireworks’ (USPP18504), and ‘Rubrum’. This showy ornamental grass grows in clumps of long narrow leaves that arch and fall resembling a fountain. Foxtail-like plumes appear in summer and continue into late fall. ‘Fireworks’ has pink and green variegated blades, while ‘Rubrum’ differs with darker purple-bronze blades. Both have multitoned creamy-white and bronze plumes. Make an excellent focal point in containers, or screens along patios, where they grow 3-5’ in height, spreading 2-4’. Deer and drought tolerant. Full Sun.
