Clematis 'Sweet Autumn' has white flowers with dark green foilage that make a wonderful contrast. 'Sweet Autumn' has a plant length of 20' and looks good on a large trellis or wooden structure that it can climb on. Its very fragrant, white flowers come on in the fall and attract a number of butterflies and insects. 'Sweet Autumn' should be planted in a full sun area with moist to wet soil in a well-drained area. The tops of Clematis prefer full sun while their roots prefer a cool, shady area. It is best to heavily mulch the root zone to provide this cool, shady area.
